Track Design Competition: Holger Thor Nielsen

My private race track, called Circuit Taps (Taps being a tiny village in tiny Denmark), has occupied my garage in form of a permanent 25 metres four lane classic Scalextric track, complete with Le Mans start (2 x PT/64 and 1 x PT/65), Goodwood Chicane (2 x PT/77), Pit Stop (2 x PT/90, 1 x PT/92, and 1 x PT/94) and almost all of the old buildings and accessories. Only major part still missing is a K/703 Control Centre. Where can I get one? Alongside you find buildings from MRRC, Airfix, SRA and Polistil. Finally I have managed to find a A/229 ”Grande” Bridge (in fact two), but now I have trouble to find space for one.

On the ”other side of the hill” of my track, I have made up a more modern piece of race history. Here you find the new SCX pit buildings, there figures and all the smart guys from SRA. A hell to glue together, these metal men!

All my buildings, tribunes and the country side is occupied by arround 200+ small plastic and metal guys and dolls (all painted by hand) from Scalextric, MRRC, Carrera, SRA, Slot32 etc.etc. A pity that there are so few of them in sitting position. All the pit lanes are very crowded, but there is plenty of space on the almost empty tribunes.

I have among 300+ cars in my collection, my favorites being the 60´ and 70´ Formula One and Sport Cars. All cars and most of the accessories were supplied from Pendle Slot Racing, Phil Smith, Scale Models and Aloy Shop.

The overall judge by our race meetings is made up by DS Racing Products provided by Pendle Slot Racing.
