I started the slot racing hobby in 1996. My first set was a Scalextric F1 superteams, with the MCLaren C 585 and the Williams FW 15. After that I started collecting Formula one cars, from different brands and also buying new and olds sets like the C888 fourlane circuit, and some other formula one type sets (only from Scalextric.)
In the beginning of 1998, I started together with an collegue from my work, to build the table and after many hours of thinking we finished the track seen in the overview. There are some straights to go for speed and some tricky corners.
The first picture (the tracker version) is an overview from my track, the track is build on a wooden table 80 cm high. The track is from Scalextric.
The pictures show some scenes from the circuit, were using real grit, and when a car leaves the circuit it gives a realistic noise. The grit really does the job good, it works fantastic!! There is little about the scenery Ican tell you. In my point of view it's not the importants part of racing, so we diddnt have many trees or buildings. In our view only the nessesary accessories are placed.
