The Scalextric Challenge in support of Help for Heroes is travelling the country setting up at shopping malls, motorway service areas, high streets, airports, supermarkets and at the Brooklands Museum Slot Racing Festival.

Anyone who would like to have a go at recording a time can do. It is £1 per go which is six laps; one practice and five timed. The top ten at each venue are posted on our venue Hot Las board and anyone who breaks 31 seconds will be listed on our online leaderboard from which the top 32 will be invited to the Challenge final being hosted by the British Racing Drivers’ Club at Silverstone in October. All finalists win prizes with the winner also going on to compete in the Scalextric World Championships.

Help for Heroes is a charity set up in October 2007 aiming to raise funds to support our wounded service men and women.
