Carrera BMW 3.5 CSL No.5 6h Watkins Glen 1979 - 1/32 slot car.
Driven by Kenper Miller and Dave Cowart.
The BMW 3.5 CSL in motorsport
The BMW E9 was manufactured from 1968 to 1975 and was based on the predecessor models 2000 C and 2000 CS. Originally the E9 was built only as a 3.0 CSL, but went in the brand world championship in the 70s but with 3.5 litre displacement at the start. BMW won three races in the 1976 World Championship with the 3.5 CSL. At the 6-hour race in Watkins Glen in 1979, the model with start number 5 finished in 10th place.
The races on the home circuit
With the original BMW license, it almost seems as if the car had driven directly from Watkins Glen to you on the Carrera train. The 1:32 scale car hunts over the rails and looks just as great as its big role model. Will the BMW make it to the podium this time? Try it yourself and get the victory home. You can also digitally upgrade your slot car with the decoder (26732). So it is possible to drive on DIGITAL 132 trains.
