Le Mans Miniatures Graham Hill 1964-65.
Hand painted figurine in 1:32 scale of Graham Hill walking with his race helmet in hand and glasses around the neck.
The British racing driver was born in 1929, Graham Hill was an emblematic character of Formula in the 1960's. He was F1 World Driver Champion in 1962 with BRM and in 1968 with Lotus. He participated in the Le Mans 24 Hours race each year from 1958 to 1966, mostly on behalf of British teams but Porsche too. It was only when he went back to Le Mans in 1972 with the Matra MS 670 No.15 and teammate Henri Pescarolo he won the famous race.
He is the only driver ever to win the Triple Crown of Motorsport - the 24 Hours of Le Mans (1972), Indianapolis 500 (1966) and either the Monaco Grand Prix (in 1963, 1964, 1965, 1968 & 1969) or the Formula One World Drivers' Championship.
Hill was one of the first driver to customise his race helmet, adopting the colours and cap design of the London Rowing Club - dark blue with white oar-shaped tabs.
