Penelope Pitlane Honda RA273 1966/1967. The Honda RA 273 made its debut at the end of the 1966 Season, by running second in the Italian GP, before Ginther crashed it. Its V12 with 400 bhp was up to 412 bhp by 1967. It was bulky and heavy, 240 kgs over the formulas minimum weight of 500 kg before it took on a heavy fuel load for its thirsty engine. In 1967 the Ford DFV with the same power, simplicity and low weight made it an uphill struggle for everyone else.
The Honda RA 273 is available as a body only kit or a complete kit with full running gear.
The images show the body kit and our example of a nearly finished model just to give you an idea how the body and chassis might look. Due to the wide selection of parts included in this kit some of the content may differ slightly from that shown.
