Racer Sideways reproduce in 1:32 scale the popular Group 5 Lancia Beta Montecarlo No.576 car in the attractive Alitalia livery, as raced at the Giro d'Italia in 1979.
The Giro d'Italia was part rally and part road held on the roads and tracks of Italy from 1973 and 1980. Gilles Villeneuve with co-drivers Walter Rohrl and Christian Geistdofer won the race but were then disqualified for having used the motorway as a short-cut.
This slot car is ready to run for competition racing and the attention to the body detail is visible to see.
