Scalextric Chevrolet Camaro 1969 No.79 as driven by Swede Savage.
Special edition packaging and featuring a 60th Anniversary holographic logo on the car.
Limited Edition of 250 pieces.
In the 1971 SCCA Trans Am at Watkins Glen Swede Savage qualified in third position just behind the Ford Mustang driven by George Follmer and the AMC Javelin driven by Roger Penske. The race though, didn’t go to plan. The car’s harmonic balancer couldn't take the strain of the race and exploded! This caused shrapnel to go straight through the oil lines with only one out come – Swede Savage’s race was over.
For use on 1:32 analogue track systems. Can be converted for Scalextric Digital by fitting C8515 Easy-Fit Digital Plug.
This Chevrolet Camaro comes in display case and supplied with spare pick-up braids.
