A simple 2 lane analogue circuit would only allow up to 2 cars to be raced by two operators (drivers) using hand controllers wired to each lane.
The cars are restricted to only one of the lanes.
A Scalextric Analogue circuit uses the same track pieces as a Digital circuit. The only difference is that a Digital circuit will use a different powerbase, hand controllers and power supply.
You can upgrade or convert your Scalextric Analogue circuit to Digitial by purchasing a conversion kit or the all the parts separately.
A digital circuit adds a new dimension to slot racing as it allows you to race multiple cars on any lane.
The cars have the function to switch lanes and overtake with the press of a button on your hand controller.
