How can i place an order at Pendle Slot Racing?

Do I need to create an online account to place my order?
No you don't have to create an account to place an order online at Pendle Slot Racing. You can simply checkout as a guest. However by creating an account with our store, you will be able to move through the checkout process faster, store multiple shipping addresses, view and track your orders in your account and more.
What is Pre-Order?
A pre-order item is a product that is available to purchase/reserve before the release date.
What are the benefits to pre-ordering an item?
NO PRE-PAYMENT - We will not charge for any pre-orderd item until the product is available and ready to be dispatched.
SECURE THE ITEM - Although we ensure we have decent stock quantity of new items it is advisable to pre-order items to secure as certain items we are limited to small numbers
BE ONE OF THE FIRST - Pre-ordered items are sent out soon as they become available.

Will items in my basket stay there?
When you create an online account at Pendle Slot Racing, you can add many products into your basket at any one time. If you haven't finished your order or still deciding what to buy, the items will save in your account shopping basket, even if you sign out. So the next time you sign into your account the items you placed in your shopping basket will still show.
Are products placed in my shoping basket allicated to me?
Adding products to your shopping basket does not allocate the item or the qty you have selected. This is only done when the checkout page is completed and the order is submitted. If a product is sitting in your basket and the item stock status is changed to 'out of stock' during this period, the product will not show in your basket.
What happens if an item is not in stock?
We make every effort to keep our website stock levels as accurate as possible. If you place an order for an item which states on the website in stock and we have no stock available to fulfil the order, we're sorry and we will contact you by telephone or email to let you know your options and find out what you would like to do. We never take payment for items until they are ready to be dispatched.
How do you pack the parcels?
We send out parcels all over the world and it s something we take great care and pride in. We make sure that all items are secure before selecting the best type of packaging. We use jiffy bags or flat boxes for spares where possible, this enables a better chance for the parcel to fit through your letter box. For larger items like cars and accessories we use a range of different size boxes. Most of the slot cars we sell come in display cases, we securely fasten the car where possible to prevent the car coming loose in their box and we bubble wrap around the cases to give the case added protection. If you have any special packaging requirements just let us know.
Do you dispatch to my country and how much is postage?
We dispatch parcels to pretty much anywhere in the world. If your country is not listed on the checkout page please contact us.. Shipping prices are dynamically calculated in the shopping basket and you will be presented a range of shipping options available based on the exact products in your basket. Orders may be shipped together as one order or sent as part orders. For more details please see our delivery info page.
My parcel hasn’t arrived
The arrival of your parcel will depend which delivery type you choose and the destination. Please see our delivery info page for details on estimated delivery times when a parcel is dispatched.
- Parcels delivered in the UK we suggest to allow 7 days.
- Parcels delivered in Europe we suggest to allow 10 days.
- Parcels delivered in outside Europe we suggest to allow 15 days.
If you have received a dispatch email and the parcel has not arrived after the estimated time we advise to do the following
- Contact your local post depot as they may have attempted to deliver, this is a common reason (a delivery attempt note is usually put through your letter box but this is not always the case)
- Check if the parcel has been left with your neighbours
If your parcel was sent with a tracked delivery service please use the parcel tracking number provided in the dispatched email. If you did not receive a tracking number please contact us. and we will provide the tracking number..

When do you take my Payment?
At Pendle Slot Racing we only take payment for items when ready to be dispatched. We do not charge any order until we have picked, inspected the product and processed the order ready for packing. All Pre-order and back order items will not be charged until these are in stock. Please read our Payment Information page
How do I recycle my old electrical items?
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
Pendle Slot Racing is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
For example, if a customer bought a new Power Supply from us we would accept their old Power Supply and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:
Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
