PCS ERA Mini Turbo - 1/32 scale slot car kit.

History of the ERA Mini Turbo

The quickest official production classic Mini ever built!

A modified Mini designed and engineered by E.R.A. (Engineering Research & Application Ltd). The standard 1989 Mini City was modified with chunky body kit, updated cabin and raft of suspension, braking modifications and installed with a turbocharged 1300 MG Metro engine which produced 94bhp with a claimed top speed of 115 mph.

It was fast, good-looking and exceptionally well made. it's described as the spiritual successor to the Cooper and the 1275 GT.

Today the ERA Mini Turbo is a real collectors item as only 436 were produced with the majority of cars exported to Japan. We have modelled our kit so that you can use the Japanese style front number plate holder or leave it off to model a UK version.
