What wheels will these tyres Fit?

These tyres can be used with a wide range of wheel sizes as they can be stretched onto larger diameter wheels.

To fit wheels of 15mm diameter (and taller) x 8-10mm wide, with a 5mm wide raised centre band around the wheel. i.e.

When fitted to a 15.8x8mm Slot-it wheel, the overall diameter of the tyre will stretch to 19.4mm, and will increase if fitted to larger diameter wheels.

The tyres have a reduced internal diameter, this means they are smaller than the diameter of the wheels intended to fit. The reason is so that the tyre is a tight fit on the wheel, giving less chance of the tyre coming off the rim.

These tyres may also fit some of the latest Scalextric wheels such as the BTCC range and some of the latest GT3 cars, but please check that your cars wheel centre band is 5mm wide.

If the wheel band is too narrow the tyre will move from side to side on the wheel, If the wheel band is too wide the tyre will not fit flat on the wheel.

These tyres are tried and tested and are used in two of the Classes raced at Pendle Scalextric Club.
