Penelope Pitlane 1926 Higham Special Babs Kit.

Count Louis Zborowski of 'Chitty-Bang-Bang' fame pioneered the practice of fitting aeroplane engines in cars for racing at Brooklands Chitty I 23 ltr Maybach, Chitty II 18.9 ltr Mercedes, Chitty III 14.8 ltr Mercedes. His fourth car named the Higham Special which had a 27 ltr V12 Liberty engine is the subject of this kit. This car was bought by Parry Thomas and renamed 'Babs' he raced it at Brooklands and used it in World Land Speed Record attempts.
