Scalextric Hot Laps brings back the thrill of retro rally arcade racing games with an interactive lap counter and checkpoint racing app, combining the best bits from the world of slot racing and arcade gaming to create an exciting slot racing experience for the home. Hot Laps amps up the racing fun, without the need for extra hardware, so it is fully compatible with existing tracks and cars. Simply place your smart device onto the cardboard race gantry included and select your preferred race mode. The camera on the device uses motion detection, so when the car zooms under the gantry the app counts a lap - super easy and tons of fun!

Hot Laps

Select 1 player Championship or 2 player 'Head to Head'.
Race through checkpoints before the time runs out.
Complete all checkpoints within the allotted time to progress to the next rally stage.
Complete all rally stages to get your name in the championship top 16 hall of fame.

Lap Counter

Preselect number of laps.
Number of laps will count down as the driver passes underneath the starting gantry.
Complete the total number of laps faster than your opponent to win the race.

Hot Laps Racing Gantry

Flat pack start/finish gantry, simple slot together design.
Constructs into a stable platform - securely locates your smart device above the layout.
The onboard camera is positioned overhead to detect motion on the track.
When the cars pass underneath the gantry, a lap is registered.
Device is held at optimal height to clearly display screen.

Elevated Flyover

The elevated flyover section adds another dimension to your layout.
Hit the flyover at the right speed to gain the advantage.
Skill and timing are needed to keep your car on the track.

Speed Limiter
Lightweight and ergonomically designed hand controller which provides various power-level speed control.
