A pre-production sample of the next BRM 1/24 car has arrived here at Pendle Slot Racing for us to test... the classic Mini Cooper! Following on from the BRM NSU TT, Simca, Renault 8 and Fiat Abarth models, the iconic Mini is now being added to the BRM stable. Below are a few photos that we have taken.
The Mini features the adjustable aluminium chassis with floating centre piece.
Powered by a 19,000rpm S-Can motor, the speed is perfect for this model, not too powerful but fast enough to push the car to the limits.
Aluminium wheels front and rear with Minilite wheel inserts of course.
As you can see in the above photo, the innovative rear axle system that allows negative camber on the rear wheels. The front wheels are rotated independently.
The Mini is great fun to drive on our 6 lane wood track, imagine a full grid of them! These will defiantly make an excellent choice for an 'out of the box' club class and should produce some very close racing.
The BRM 1/24 Mini can race on both Scalextric and Ninco 1/32 track systems.
The photo above shows the comparison in size against the Scalextric 1/32 model.
Available in five different colours of the Martini Racing inpired decoration, Gulf Racing livery and white kit.
